About your guide
Kevin Power is an Irish artist, designer, writer, performer and college lecturer based in Amsterdam. For more than 20 years, Kevin has shown his work nationally and internationally. Kevin’s brand the “Dali Lama’s Pajamas”, is an on going, art project making clothing for meditation and shamanic purposes. “Dali” stands for the artist, “Lama’s” for his holiness and “Pajamas” for a state of mind. It is an investigation between the wearer and the costume and the possibility to transform ourselves.
Kevin’s recent sculptural work is an investigation and celebration of the Divine Feminine as manifested in the phenomena of the Black Madonna. This work is a reaction to the environmental crisis and a call to action.
